Braided Cables |

The most familiar coaxial cables with braided outer conductor are the
RG- types. RG cables are standardised cables according to the US
military specification MIL-C-17. For other applications than military,
adapted cable constructions are often used in order to reach higher
screening and lower longitudinal loss.
Low Loss cables from EUPEN are designed for systems, where the
attenuation is the most essential feature. Mostly they are used for
the optimal reception of TV and radio channels by terrestrial antenna
systems, cable or satellite networks.
Advanced broadband telecommunication networking request hybrid fibre
and coaxial cable technology. This network has not only to supply video
entertainment but must also carry interactive video-data and voice
information. EUPEN coaxial cables are specially designed to meet the
requirements of modern telecommunication systems.
Optimised production methods guarantee constantly high cable quality
to meet national and international standards like IEC96-1, EN50117, UTE
C90131, ...
Depending on your system application, the characteristic impedance (50
Ohm or 75 Ohm) is the first parameter to define before an adequate
cable construction can be selected. Then the right cable selection
depends on required cable features, size and attenuation.
